Use one pair for stereo or surround apps or pick up 2 pairs (4 speakers) for use as the front and surround parts in a multichannel listening system. The speakers are magnetically shielded for distortion-free placement near your television or computer monitor. Video programs sound more lifelike and enveloping with timbrally matched speakers all around, and a great deal of newer music formats–from the DTS surround CD to DVD-Audio and SACD–offer music from your bestloved artists mixed expressly for surround-sound listening. (Alternately, you could use these as surround speakers with larger, floorstanding speakers for the front left/right channels.)

Standing just beneath 15 inches tall, the DV62si speakers each use a custom-designed .75-inch, ferrofluid-cooled dome tweeter for extended high frequencies and a 6-inch poly/graphite-blend woofer is light yet rigid for tight, accurate, and to an outstanding degree extended bass.

I was looking to replace my Boston Acoustics a60 pair after regarding 20 years of use. I read as a heap of reviews as I could find on the internet and likewise looked at Consumers Report. I kind of narrowed it down to the JBL S26,Venturi DV62si and Polk r15. The DV62si won the competition. I auditioned each of the speakers and found the BIC pair to have a singularly beauteous sound exceptionally for classical and jazz (which are my mainstays). I was enjoyably astonished by the bass response since CR said they were a bit “bass shy”. I commend highly. (I have my speakers on 12 inch stands.) Bravo BIC.

Big sound, little package

I just wrote a review of the the Dv-62CLRS speaker, which is a top of the line center speaker. When I purchased the DV-62CLRS I likewise got a pair of the DV-62si’s. I paired them together with the DV-62CLRS speaker as my front speakers for my sourond sound scheme matched to a Rotel Processor and Parasound Amp. After close to a 100 hour burn in these speaker started to come to life. All I may say is that for the price they just may not be beaten. It is a shame that most stereo stores do not stock these so as to compare them to their high dollar speakers. Could be there is a great deal of logic to this as they would have a hard time marketing those other brand name speakers(at two to three times the cost). when compaired to the B.I.C.s

Amazing

These speakers are far better that I would suppose from and bookshelf speaker of this size ands price. I love the warmth of these little speakers. I listened to Bose 301′s and these are better to me. I think for what you pay and the sound quality you get it is hard to warrant the Bose at 3x the price!

Still a bookshelf speaker, and they do have limitations for the size, but I would commend them to any individual looking for a bookshelf speaker that sounds great and has a real mans price sticker.
