Often, exotic species such as Tigerwood or Ipe are more immune to mold, mildew, and domestic pests than domestic species like Maple or Ash.

What do most masters recommend? Ipe wood is believed to be the best wood for exterior use. Colors may range from olive brown, to brown-black, and most times striping of lighter colors throughout. It is very strong and dense, has high durability, and is immune to splintering, warping, or cracking. 5A Great Buy
By Douglas Dean Dispiri
Although I only received this little lighter today, it is quality is felt in the touch and the steadiness of the light. A feature I have never seen on a lighter of this type is the gear shaped button at the bottom, which controls the variance of the gas output; therefore the flame. I have employed knives, little and huge screwdrivers, and my finger nails to reach in and turn the little mechanism with it is tiny cutouts, in order to control the flame. This lighter has a little knob at the bottom which has impressions, so it is turned effortlessly and steadily, with no apparatus needed. Another divergence in this lighter from the others I have applied is when filling this lighter there is a definitive pressure from the butane to the lighter valve, indicating liquid passing through. I have had lighters which, while costing this price or more, are made so cheaply that I never genuinely knew if butane freed into the lighter. It seemed it did but when it did not ignite, I repeated the process, many times assorted times before I used not too much but sufficient pressure to open the valve. The quality and spring of this valve without any delay conveyed it is receptive action to the butane. It is better than lighters I have purchased in shops at twice the price. Blazer makes a positive impression on me and my next lighter will be another Blazer.

1junk – and can’t return!
By Travis Jordan
The lighter does not work at my elevation – 6000 ft – in a general mountain city. It merely does not light most of the time. Okay, if you sit there and click it very tardily when it comes to 8-10 times, with the flame set to closely the lowest setting, it will finally light once. Then you have to click it another 8-10 times to get it to light once more. I have had better torch lighters for $4.99 from comfortableness stores. There will have to be a warning in regards to this elevation issue in the description.

What’s worse, is Amazon will not receive any returns on lighters. Again, THERE SHOULD BE A WARNING ABOUT THIS IN THE DESCRIPTION.

I’ve handled a good number of torch lighters over the years and this one is finelooking flimsy. There’s sloppy play in the activating lever and it feels actually cheap – the lever is made of a thin, folded, stamped metal, not a solid piece. It has a junky sound as you’re activating the lever, like something amid turning a actually old doorknob and flexing an aluminum may – any person standing next to you would think you’re handling a severe piece of junk.

The lighter weighs more 2.3 oz., which is heaver than full Zippo, yet is has a quality level where, even even though it’s new and in a formally presenting something case, I wouldn’t even give it to friend.

It’s not worth my time to try for warranty service, package this thing up, compensate for postage, and deal with the manufacturer. I in truth think Amazon FAILED for not vetting this product and putting warnings up.

5Perfect for the trail
By azvampyre
This is the best lighter I have owned. It’s perfective for windy days or lighting a smoke in a moving sand rail or quad.
I think the bad reviews are from humans who don’t recognise how to the right way fill a butane lighter. If you constantly try to overfill it, you may harm the o-rings, like any refillable lighter. I found that two 7 second spurts work fine.
I love how this veritably is one handed operation, just grip it and squeeze.
It likewise comes in a nice jewelry box.

Update: Recently noticed it was harder to light, exceptionally at 5500 ft.
Replaced the cheap liquid with a good deal of triple distilled butane purchased locally, and no more problems. It even made it light on the lowest setting when the cheap stuff had to be up with regards to half way.
