great value, outstanding build – why wait?

I have a handful of $1-2 cutters which must just be burned and have a nice Xikar cutter which costs assorted times what this cutter costs and which I use only at home because I am affrighted to take it out with me and lose it.

Enter the cuban crafters cutter… I had heard it was nice, and for 13 bucks, why not try it. At worst, I’m out the price of a nice cigar, and at best, I now have a new journeying cutter.

I have to say, I was very enjoyably amazed when I got the cutter in the mail. The packaging for the cutter alone was nicely done. The cutter itself is very solid and has a good weight to it, feels like it may withstand numerous heavy usage.

The cutter has a back to it to prevent humans from cutting too much off the cigar. For those with torpedoes, it has a little hole to give more space to handle the torpedo tip. I found that I necessitated to cut a torpedo twice in order to get the desired cut to the cigar. While somewhat annoying to have to cut twice, the quality of the cut won me over… crisp, clean and smooth.

In summary, want a superb cigar cutter that costs a fraction of the other standard cutters? Want a cutter with solid build and superb clean cuts? And lastly, want a cutter you won’t bang your head versus a wall if you leave at a bar or party?

I’m very happy with this purchase. It is a quality product that works as it should. It is very sharp and makes a clean perfectly sized cut each time. Packaging was decent as well… Could make for a good present.

Excellent cutter

I was looking at some costly versions, 70+ bucks, but realized, who the heck am I attempting to impress? This is a great cutter, handles torpedoes effortlessly and cuts finely.

Solid build, strong frame and sharp blades. Get this, even if you are looking at others.
