5A true work of art
By Cigar Smoke
My wife purchased this for me as a christmas present. Each drawer (7) will hold over 20 cigars even with big ring guages. The hygrometer is very exact and comes pre calibrated. Seasoning this beast is easy but you will want to be thourough so you do not spoil your smokes. There is a himidifier for each drawer but you may put other kinds in it if you like. Because of the layout you will want at least 3 going at all times particularly if you are in a arid area. I am running all seven. The cabinet is high quality construction. The paint is a piano finish with multiple layers of laquer. The door seal and hardware are top notch. This cabinet holds a prime view in our house because I like my buddies to drool.

1/27/09: Very stable cabinet. Once seasoned the humidity stays right on. I also use humidipaks to keep the humidity from getting too high. This was an magnificent gift so If you are looking at one of these for somebody special they will love it.

3Quality Piece but Overpriced for it is Size
By Kailua Chris
I have an broad cigar collection that outgrew my primary humi, a Don Salvatore “Havana Cigar Cafe” humidor (which is outstanding but I’m not reviewing that piece here). I wanted a piece that was in the same league as that. When I stumbled throughout this humi, I thought I found the deal of the year. I thought it was a quality piece (and it is). However, I had been researching a number of “tower” pieces and thought this one was around the same height as those (between 67″-72″). My bad, not theirs. When the package arrived, I thought it was a great deal of kind of fault (because of the little height). Once I opened it, I realized that I asuumed incorrectly (and you recognise what they say regarding assuming). Long story short, remunerate attention to the dimensional details. It’s a very nice piece but I’m not sure I would buy it again for that price. There are a number of top quality humis out there for a lot less money. My issue with this piece isn’t when it comes to the quality (because it is there). It’s strictly with regards to the value for the buck.
