I thought this was a good fuel until I tried a ordinary quintuple-refined fuel (The Colibri is triple-refined).

Even after completely purging my cigar lighters and refilling I had disturb with this fuel. It almost never lit right away.

Waving my lit lighters back and forth in the air to test how well the fuel burned resulted in the lighters going out on the original or second wave. Trying this with the quintuple fuel resulted in the lighters staying lit even after stringent waving. Also, the lighters lit the initial time each time.

This fuel works (barely) and is widely available and more comfortable to get than the better fuels, but you’d be better off buying something better here off of the Internet.

Colibri Butane is so practical.

I prefer Colibri of London, 3.04 oz. size containers for two crucial reasons: (1) The compact size. I use them to refil my fire-place and candle lighters (although the re-fill potpourri are hard to find now, thence forcing you to buy a new one each time it runs out of Butane…Grrr!) and to refil my Colibri lighter. Those big cans are so cumberson and awkward to handle, exceptionally when attempting to fill a cigarette or pipe lighter. You may effortlessly keep one in the glove compartment, or even in a jacket pocket with ease. And they are easy to handle, in particular if one is plagued with arthritis.

i have genuinely had a change of heart most of the 5 x butane is made from Korean butane to start out with so the quality is so inferior that the 3 x butane from England is much higher quality
