Quick and Simple Dumbbell Chest Workout

leemhayward asked:

www.BlastYourBench.com This is an awesome chest workout that uses just dumbbell and bodyweight exercises. You’ll start with flat dumbbell bench presses. Then do incline dumbbell flyes, and finish off with push ups. Do 3 sets of each exercise.

    The main thing to focus on is your diet, you need to make sure you consume more calories then you burn off in order to keep your body in a caloric surplus to grow from.

    I have a question. What part of the chest do decline presses target? Also, is there any “trick” I could use so that I’m not damaging my shoulder when trying to reach for the weights, if I don’t have a spotter?

    @leemhayward

    Is that just because it is much harder to stabilize the weight and that you are engaging more muscles?

    I like this excercise for the chest much better than the standard bar bench press as you get more range of motion and really get the chest to stretch for more muscular development.

    If you’re about to fail on a rep, and can’t seem to get the dbs to a good point to get them out of your arms, what the best way to drop them without injury? (kind of like the bench press where you lean to the side to drop the bar)…(no spotter)

    Really like this workout. Was getting bored of my old routine and my body wasn’t responding to it aswell as it used to. So have started adding some variation from these videos. Much easier to see it done and explained at the same time. Thanks Lee!
