Not that funny. Actually, not that good at all…

I was very disappointed in this book. It just isn’t funny. The stories are just plain lame. I’m also a firefighter, and I was expecting something that would at least make me chuckle once an a while. This book is just a collection of more or less normal events. Most of these events take the author less than a page to write. So just think of this as 150 two paragraph emails that someone wrote. I would not commend this book as a gift, as a firefighter would not find this enjoyable.

The preview or “Search Inside” section isn’t like the rest of the book. The introduction is the only story that takes more than a page and a half.

I wish the author the best of luck, and I would consider other titles from him. In this book, he genuinely missed the prospect to take a great deal of events and make them into stories others would enjoy.

Terrible

This book looks like it was written by middle schoolers. There is more comprehensible statement of instrumentation and how things are done in each story then there is with regards to anything funny. I myself being a firefighter thought this would be a outstanding read but it is not. There are a lot better books out there then this.
