4Great mini-tripod
By Phil Rosenthal
First, consider the price on this thing — $15 … for that much cash I was in truth not expecting all that much.

That said, it may hold up my Canon 5dm2 and lens just fine (I tested with my lighter lenses such as the 35mm f/1.4L) I haven’t yet tested it with a heavy lens like the 70-200 f/2.8L IS.

It’s adaptable in galore dissimilar angles, and has a quickrelease similar to what you get on a Bogen/Manfrotto full-size tripod (though it’s not compatible).

It’s very lightweight and easy to carry in a little camerabag.

The complaints:
Due to it’s size and light weight, it doesn’t have much of it’s own stability. You do need to be careful to consider using a remote shutter release, and perhaps mirror lock-up to keep away from shaking the camera for the duration of shutter release.

It’s suction cup on the center piece does not in truth have a very good seal, so it won’t in truth get much of a grip on anything other than say a glass table, or marble/granite counters/floors. Don’t think you’re going to stick this to a window at a 90 degree angle.

The extension you get from extending the three legs of the tripod is very minimal due to the extreme angle of the legs, perchance adding 1-2 inches. Personally, I largely plan on using this for low-angle shots anyway, and if I suppose to need a tall tripod, I’ll just fetch my carbon fiber full-size tripod.

4works
By Paula Madsen
This product took me in regards to 15 min to figure out how to use. I thought that I would be competent to get extra height by extending the legs, but then found that they extend so far to the sides that full extension gives me an extra inch or two – not the 5″ that i in the first place thought I’d get. But it works! And it does hold up my Canon xsi and my lens with no problem. I think it’s the best one out there that is this size based on my research. :)

5Awesome and Convienent to carry around
By Rob Tucker
I purchased this because I was going to Rome and wanted something I could haul around easily. I must’ve walked in regards to 5 miles a day, and lugging this tripod around was easy. Barely weighs anything, plus it folds up to be pretty little and fits nicely in my camera backpack.
