Ds Lite Mini Folio Black Nintendo

Last month Nintendo freed their third version of the DS handheld called the Nintendo DSi. I’m sure galore humans are attempting to figure out if they must trade in their current handheld and pick up the new DSi. Well I’m going to provide you with the data to determine for yourself if it will be worth getting.

First of all as you may see from the pictures drifting around the web that the DSi shares a heap of mutual traits with the introductory including the dual screens, one of which is a touch screen and the flip close design. It includes everything that makes the DS a outstanding console like a built in microphone, Wi-Fi (including the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service), listening to music, and others. It genuinely is just a basic betterment to the original design.

Where the new design is different is in assorted simple enhancements like being lighter and slimmer than the original, increasing the size of the screens, and the addition of two cameras. The two motion sensing cameras, one on the inside hinge that is facing the gamer and the other on the outside facing away for taking pictures, form an “eye” which is where the new name comes from. The cameras may just be VGA but they still take a good picture. Nintendo likewise added an SD card slot on the right side and got rid of the power switch which has been substituted with a power button once again. The DSi is only available in black right now but you may always get a skin for your console or they may release it in dissimilar colors in the upcoming months like there are in Japan.

Even though there may be a lack of DSi specific games there are still games are being designed to take vantage of the DSi’s new cameras for added functionality. For example WarioWare: Snapped! allows you to take percentage in various mini games using the front camera to control activenesses using your head and hands. This opens a whole new realm of future prospects or potentials for new games.

Even even though the DSi isn’t a major change to Nintendo’s handheld formula it’s still great in it is own right. The cameras alone are worth picking it up for me. And the outstanding thing regarding the Nintendo DSi is that you may carry on to play all your old great DS games.

4New version, still reliable
By J. J. ALWARD
BD&A have been making more or less dissimilar versions of this DS Lite Mini Folio for years now. I purchased my wife one over 2 years ago and she’s still using it.

The older version applied to have an external zippered pocket on the back with 3 elastic loops to store DS games. This version has annihilated that second zippered pocket and moved the game storage to a flap inside the folio. On the plus side it increased the slots from 3 to 6 (3 vinyl pockets on each side of the flap), on the down side the games now somewhat rub versus your DS when the folio is closed. The flap likewise has two little elastic loops to store extra styluses…stylii…however you would word them. BD&A does make a version of this folio WITHOUT this flap altogether, but this one has it. Lastly there is a velcro web-mesh pocket on the inside of the case, good to store a few more games, screen clothes, or cash etc.

This case is NOT huge sufficient to carry a charger along with your DS Lite. If you’re looking to fetch a charger or headphones with you this is not the case for you. For me this is a plus, the case is lean and mean, protects your DS and a few games securely and doesn’t feel like you’re lugging a briefcase with you.

I would give this 5 stars if it still came with a clip and screen cleaning cloth on the case, but they’ve cost-cut both out.

5Great Case !!!!
By M. Rees
This is a outstanding case. Its cushioned sufficient to provide shelter for your DS Lite. It includes cart pouches for 6 carts. It zippers nicely and is compact sufficient to stow in most pouches you will find on bags, luggage, etc. I have a courier bag that I use for my laptop – this case fits very nicely in one of my accessory pouches.

Some persons knock this case b/c they say the ‘bottom’ cart sleeve brushes up versus the DS Lite and may cause scratches. To that I say, just put your DS Lite in ‘upside down’. The carts touch the bottom of the system, and the top of the system is protected by the case’s cushioned interior. No biggie there folks – outstanding case pick it up.

5Great quality
By SegaGuy217
This is not a product that needs a real long review. I ordered this for my niece as a Christmas present as she was wanting a case for her DS and I am finelooking sure she will be happy. The quality seems gorgeous good and is well made. I have a case this company makes which is likewise officially licensed by Nintendo but for the Wii and they are in regards to the same quality and are very lasting products.
