I’m a certifiable clamp junkie & I prefer the Jorgensen line. I’ve strayed off the straight & narrow on occasion & tried other brands but I’ve always come back to Jorgies. Simple & bullit-proof, nice thick cushy pads & a clutch system that engages without fuss each time. The minis are outstanding for light responsibility clamping, getting into tight spots & setting up jigs. For these jobs I like the 8″ length, not too short & not too long. I think Jorgensens design is as good as anyone’s, their quality control consistantly a cut above & their price a little posing no difficulty on the pocket book. Jorgensens unquestionably see the most use on my workbench. Now if I could just find a woodworkers anonymous meeting……..

Great little clamp with a large total of power

I have had this clamp for a while and I use it all the time for securing boards while routing, clamping on guides and jigs as well as temporary faces on my table saw fence. It is a outstanding size and has a great deal of keeping power to fit most needs.

This clamp is more comfortable to carry around and use when equated with the heavy obligation version.

Not what I expected. Holds firm. The “light duty” description misleading. This is a good quality clamp.
