I have tested other brands, and Powerfilm line of folding panels are the best by far- they are set at 15-16volts (18-19 no load) which is perfective for both charging 12v batteries, and DIRECTLY plugging into a good deal of laptops (in queer my 15v toughbook systems). These panels (I own at least one of each model) always output ranked or more outstanding current in full sun, and at least 25-30% in shadowless full cloudy conditions. They are lightweight, and the only hassle is with the more spectacular ones- figuring out how to fold them back as was manufatured- there are no fold markings. This is easy to fix with a sharpie pen however!
Don’t bother with other solar kits, just get the best ones available on this planet… Also – these are the lightest weight of any solar panel per wattage available anywhere. If you buy something portable- probabilities are you intend to carry it around, so consider that.

This thing is very well made soft and unbreakable. It will run chargers and USB adapters as well as direct charging of batteries. The best thing was the price.
