All accumulators of antiquate firearms and historical firearms must have their curio & relics (C&R) license. This type (03) of license is much requiring little effort to get than other type of F.F.L. licenses. The cost for a curio & relics license is $30.00 for a 3 year license. The great thing when it comes to this license is that if you are aggregator of antiquate firearms, you may buy directly from importers without going through a gun dealer or gun shop. The firearms may be shipped directly to your door. There are a heap of records that you have to keep when you use this license, but not one thing like being a firearms dealer. The thing to do not forget is that curio & relics license was devised for the gatherer not a gun dealer. The disclaimer that is written on the license is that this license does not authorize the holder to engage in the business of dealing in any firearms.

Now you think this is for you, you will need to get your F.F.L. application from the A.T.F. and fill it out. The paper work required to obtain your curio & relics license is simple but needs to be filled out correctly. There are a total of two forms to fill out, one of the forms must be filled out in duplicate. The introductory form you will fill out looks like the 4473 you fill out at the gun shop when you buy a firearm. The only further and added data that they ask for on the form is the name and address of the chief law enforcement officer in your area. This may be the chief of police or the sheriff, all be pends on where you live. The second form called a certificate of compliance, this is a short form just to make sure you are a legal resident of the United States. Make sure when you mail in your forms to the A.T.F. that you send your check or cash order for $30.00 along with them. Send the copy of the form to the chief of law enforcement.

5Better Than Yoshi’s Ground-Pound
By Daddy Wes
I grabbed one of these off Amazon with the Alpine MRP-M500 Mono Amp and a ported enclosure. Let me just say… sweet jesus. Where do I start?

5Beware Older People! Your Hearing Will Be Tested.
By R. Burris
I used to listen to piercing music in my youth but as I approach 50 (within 2 years) I have decreased my loud-listening sessions. I purchased this to substituted two Polk DXi 112 enclosures (burn out prone) that fried at moderate listening levels.

I have a Rockford Fosgate P3D412 (w/ Rockford R500 Prime amp at 2 Ohms) and Atrend slotted enclosure in my other car and it hits HARD! I at long last got this sub mounted in a Scosche SEV12CC 12-Inch Slot Ported enclosure and I was impressed with the heft and quality of construction. The Scosche box does not have the good grade of carpeting of the Atrend box but the contruction of the box is evenly robust.

I have a Alpine MRP-500 pushing this sub – WOW! This combining hits hard, so hard I found the limitations of my 20 plus years of listening to piercing rap, soul, rock, jazz, classic, etc. The bass is smooth and thumps very hard. The price I paid for this combining on Amazon was a steal, giving careful consideration to the quality of the productions contained in my package. My Rockford sub’s construction is very nice – The Alpine’s construction is just a tad bit better. Both of these subs are extraordinary but the Alpine is a better buy.

Forgo for less subs, do exploration and buy from Amazon, because the prices here are way better than other places. Also the return policy, Squaretrade warranty and prime shipping is a no-brainer. Dealing with electronics anything may happen, so after the experience of paying more for less quality I am glad I at long last have a product that hits hard and has quality to boot. I love this Alpine. I feel like 21 again, except there was no 12 inch hard hitting subs back then.

5Plenty of *BOOM* for the buck
By Douglas A. Hughey
I purchased this sub along with a ported enclosure (the Atrend Bbox enclosure sold here) and a JBL 700 watt RMS amp (the GTO7001, also sold here), to put in the trunk of my Maxima. The combining is a substitute for an Infinity Basslink, which has a 10″ sub with a 200 watt RMS amp in a radiator-style enclosure. I’ve had a few weeks to experiment with it now, and here are the results:

I have the amp’s gain set to just somewhat over the minimum audible level, the boost on the amp is set to when it comes to +2db (out of +12 max.), and the bass boost in my car stays at 0. In other words, I’ve put a conscious venture into minimizing the bass coming from the sub. Why? Because when I play a actually bass-heavy song, even at low volumes, the sub pounds even at these minimized levels. When I turn the overall volume up, visibility through my rear-view mirror is touch and go, the seats all vibrate with the beats, I may feel the hits in my chest, and on the actually bass-y songs at higher volume levels, the air motion is sufficient that I feel it brushing through my hair. So, yeah, that’s why I keep the levels minimized.

On somewhat bass-heavy songs, like most progressed pop music, the sub has a nice kick to it without being so overbearing. On rock music, the sub fills in the bass beats nicely without overtly calling attention to itself. Of course, if I turn the bass boost or amp gain up, that all changes, but I want to listen all the instruments with rock music, not just the bass guitar and kickdrum.

I would say the two negatives with this sub/amp/enclosure combo is that there’s very little range amidst inaudible and loud, and the ported enclosure doesn’t sound idealisti for all music. Oh, and I find myself strongly taking into account dropping even more cash on a lot of dynomat- I’m amazed how galore rattles this sub may fetch out.

So, if you’re in the market for galore severe bass, I unquestionably commend this sub with a sufficiently powerful amp. If you buy just one of them (all you need, in my opinion), then recompense attention to the RMS wattage at 2 ohms for your amp, and make sure you feed it sufficient power. 500-700 watts will have to be a good range. If you’re in the market for something to aid fill in the bassline that’s missing with your factory stereo, and you have no interest in pulse-pounding bass…this isn’t the sub you’re looking for.
