Moves water!

Primes without any delay and moves a lot of water on each stroke. I use it principally when I’m cleaning the hot tub. The drain leaves with regards to 50 gallons of water in the tub. With the hose over the edge it takes less than 2 minutes to get the rest of the water out. I have a little electric pump, but this is quick and more convenient. Seems well made. I’m happy.

Works well but it’s big

I chosen this pump because of the positive reviews and it does work well. My problem is the size. I waffled at purchasing a 24″ bilge pump for my kayak but this is one of the few that got positive reviews. The red tubular section of the pump is in truth 24″ but the handle adds another 3.25″ for a grand total of 27.25″. That’s just too much for me to store in my kayak when I was already concerned regarding storing 24″. It’s a good pump and perchance it’s my misunderstanding that the length of the downhearted handle is not included in the specified length of the pump. Oh well.

Excellent bilge pump

I had a decent bilge pump before this (which in all likelihood cost more than this) but my wife decisive it belonged with her garden stuff rather than in my raft, where it justifiedly belonged. So I purchased this with the idea of getting my pump back and replacing it with this one, which she could use in the garden. But when I got it, I quickly found that this was superior to my former pump, so I kept it and she held my old one. Great action on the pump, and it severely pumps the gallons away rather effortlessly. If I lost mine, I’d buy it again in a second.
