Must have gotten a bad one

First off, i did not receive the product pictured. Apparently two companies make “Z-Plus” zippo inserts, Blazer (the real one) and the one that made mine, vertigo (integral style). The logos are the same, they look identical except boxed differently, but mine has problems, so i don’t know if the quality is the same. Mine will not systematically light or stay lit. it won’t light at all if the control is set beneath full on. it doesn’t give a consistent ignition spark, and even when it does spark the lighter doesn’t light each time. then even when you get a light it ordinarily goes out without delay or after a few seconds. For with regards to a week it would stay lit long sufficient to light your intermediate cigar. oh well $10 down the drain. i recognise this is not the general for the Blazer merchandise but i didn’t receive blazer. integral style will charge me the same amount for a warranty repair as i paid for the lighter which is absurd.
Make sure you buy the blazer model, don’t get ripped off like i did

Replaces lighter-fluid cartridge

This works precisely as claimed. The only issue I had was that the hinged top-cover no longer sits solidly when closed. I rigged the lid with some of the rubber-like packaging included in the lighter and it now closes and sits properly. Other than that, it has worked without flaw.

EDIT: Approximately 2 months after purchase, this lighter ceased to work. It seemed to be related to the spark not generating. I would often have to flick/click it 20 or 30 times to get it to light (if it would light). I substituted my old Zippo guts and threw this in a drawer. Better to have to fiddle with lighter liquid and have a guaranteed light than have to struggle with this thing. It could have been idiosyncratic to my unit and I didn’t undertake to get a replacement, refund or anything of that ilk, so I can’t comment on those distinct elements of the product.

Very disappointed

I was very satisfied with this product when it arrived in the mail. I was very pleased with finelooking much everything with regards to this lighter. I was so pleased that i decisive to make a youtube review of this product in which i gave this product 11 out of 10 stars. I put it in my bestloved zippo case and begun to carry it with me. I was out with friends that night and showing off my new butane zippo… when it stopped working.

As stated before the problem is the electric starter merely stops working because it so cheap.
Granted i did use this insert rather a bit for the 6 hours i had…

But still i’m very very disappointed with this product. It is a good idea, but unluckily poor construction. I in truth hope that blazer fixes this problem or a new company makes this and does a significantly better job. because this is again a good idea.

Overall, again i’m disappointed
